What Our Families Say

Kyanja Junior has been transformative for our daughter. In one year she went from a hesitant reader to devouring books on her own. The teachers genuinely know each child by name and by nature.

NS

Mrs. Nakato Sarah

Parent — Primary 4

What convinced us was the faith-based grounding. Our son comes home not just with homework but with character. The school lives its values — it is not just a slogan on the wall.

SR

Mr. Ssempijja Ronald

Parent — Primary 6

My twins have very different personalities and both are thriving. The small class sizes mean each child is seen as an individual. I have never felt like just another school fee payment.

Our Core Values

Built on Strong Foundations

At Kyanja Junior School, everything we do is anchored in six core values that shape the whole child — academically, spiritually, and socially.

Faith

We encourage a personal relationship with God, integrating prayer and religious teachings into daily school routine.

Community

We build a strong sense of community by fostering trust, participation, collaboration and friendships amongst pupils, staff, and families.

Excellence

We strive for academic and personal excellence through a curriculum that fosters creativity, curiosity, ambition and the development of pupils' talents.

Responsibility

Our pupils are taught stewardship — fulfilling duties and making decisions in ethical, considerate manners to build dependability and accountability.

Respect

We foster respect for oneself, others, rules and the environment through encouraging empathy, kindness and equality for all pupils.

Resilience

Our pupils are taught to be courageous and determined when faced with life's challenges, recovering from setbacks with a positive attitude.
